Two Months Old Already

Evelyn had her two month checkup yesterday. She weighed in at 11lbs 1oz and measured 22 inches long, but that is probably on the short side since we couldn't get her leg to stretch out all the way. The doctor said she looked perfect and was right on target will all of her milestones. She received her first set of immunizations yesterday too. We do a slightly altered vaccination schedule, so yesterday she got Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Polio (which were all in one shot) and Hemophilus Influenze B. These are the only vaccinations she has received so far. Normally they get Hepatits B at birth and again at 2 months, but we choose to delay that vaccine because our children are not at risk for contracting that particular illness. We will delay the second round of the vaccinations she received yesterday, so instead of receiving the second round at 4 months she will receive them at 6 months. Her pediatrician helped us to decide on this schedule. We were so thrilled that she is doing well and growing like crazy!
