I took Emeline to the doctor today for her recheck from her last ear infection two weeks ago. As I suspected she had another ear infection in the ear that was not infected last time. She had a runny nose and her eye was watery which is all the symptoms she usually has with an ear infection. Since she has had 4 ear infections since Dec. we decided to do antibiotic shots. She got one today and has to go back tomorrow and Friday for rounds two and three. They will check her in two weeks and if her ears are not clear then we will have to revisit the ear tubes conversation. Please pray this works and she will not have to have tubes.
I asked the doc to look at Tristan, because he has not been sleeping well and also had a runny nose and a cough. He has double ear infections and chest congestion. So he is on antibiotics and breathing treatments.
About the only good news is that Evelyn is not sick!! I don't know how she has managed that, but we are all grateful for that blessing and pray it stays that way!
To make all of this worse we spent 2 1/2 hours at the doctors office today which caused us to miss lunch with dad. Hopefully everyone will start feeling better and no one else will fall victim to this sickness.

Have you tried garlic drops in thier ears? It worked on Julian, although she did smell like Papa John's for awhile! lol Hers was not very severe. I highly recommend Jessie Hawkins with VintageRemedies.com (shes in Spring Hill) for info on natural treatments- if you are interested in that.
