Vacation: Part II

For the second part of our vacation we headed south to Mimi and Poppy's house in Atlanta. It was a great trip. Barbar and Pawpaw Sam (MA's grandparents) came up from Florida and Uncle Matt (MA's brother) and cousin Layla also stayed the whole weekend at Mimi and Poppy's. We had a full house. While we were there we celebrated Father's Day. We all had a great time hanging out by the pool.

Mimi bought all the grandkids goggles to wear in the pool and they were a big hit!!

Evelyn had her first swimming experience while we were there. She really seemed to like the water, which was suprising since she still screams at bath time. She looked so cute in her bathing suit and hat.

Of course no trip to Atlanta would be complete without a trip to IKEA and we took two. We bought a sink and vanity for the kids bathroom (will post a pic later) and ended up going back to IKEA on our way home to buy a faucet. The kids had a blast at IKEA.

They really enjoyed the play stations set up at the exit while we were waiting to pick up the faucet.

Here is a picture of Evelyn chillin in the buggy since she can't play with the big kids yet. All in all we had a great vacation. It is always a special treat when we get to go to Mimi and Poppy's house. The only down side was that a 4 1/2 hour trip took us 6 hours mainly because we have three small children, but we hope as they get older travel time will become shorter.
