Earth Day Festival

I realize I am way behind on my blog posting so I am going to attempt to catch up before summer school starts. Here goes! On April 17th the kiddos and I went to the Baptist Baby Fair and to the Nashville Earth Day Festival. MA had to work the entire weekend so I was flying solo with the kiddos. It was a beautiful day and the kids were really excited!! The Earth Day Festival was held at Centennial Park downtown. They had some cool stuff on the kids stage. Emeline really enjoyed watching the Hawaiian dancers.
Tristan didn't seem as interested.

I liked the sitting down part!

Evelyn liked them as well.

She even started dancing along. It was so cute!! We browsed some of the booths; the kids got to plant some flowers and we enjoyed seeing all of the cool things there like the electric cars and solar powered fountains. After lunch Evelyn decided it was time to take a nap while we walked around some more.

Then, we went over to the main stage to relax a little. We found this awesome tree to sit under. While Evelyn napped Emeline and Tristan played.

They loved dancing to the music!

But they loved chasing each other around the tree even more.

I finally got them to stand still long enough to get a picture of them together.

Evelyn woke up shortly after and decided to make some phone calls. It was a great and beautiful day. The kids were VERY well behaved the entire time and they loved walking around and playing. We will definitely go back next year!!
