GIRL!!!!!! I am proud to announce the arrival of my new niece, Kate Elaine. She was born on May 8th, 9 days after her due date, at 2:00am after 26 hours of unmedicated labor! I was blessed to be Lauren's doula and got to snap these pictures of the first moments of her life. Lauren and Nate getting a good look at little Kate. She was not so little, she weighed in at 9lbs 2oz and 22in long!!

Emeline is TOTALLY in love with her new cousin. She held her for the longest time. All she can talk about is "baby Kake" as she calls her. It is so sweet watching her mother Kate.
