Catching Up

A LOT has happened since my last blog in August, I'm terrible at this blogging thing but I'm planning to get better in 2011!! So here goes the update:
Emeline turned 3 in September and is acting every bit her age and really challenging us all with the terrible 3's. She had a princess birthday, of course, and got way too many presents.
Tristan is officially in preschool and will attend Goodpasture Christian School next Fall. I can't believe that he is going to be 5 in just a few short weeks.
Evelyn is still not talking, but still thinks that she is 4 and she does everything her brother and sister do.
MA is about to finish up his EMT school and will sit for the state exam early next year. He was in a car accident a couple of months ago, a woman ran a red light and T-boned him, but he is ok and we both got "new" cars out of the situation.
I am finishing up my next to last semester of school and beginning to explore my employment options so I can have a job lined up by graduation in May. I also began keeping a sweet, beautiful baby girl who is 12 weeks old. This helps us to earn some extra income and the kids LOVE her!! I am very blessed to be able to take care of her while her parents work.
Probably the biggest news is that we will be moving in Feb or March 2011. Mark Anthony and I applied to be the caretakers of the camp that our church owns, Valley View Christian Camp. I went there as a child, as did my mother and her siblings, and I was also a counselor in high school The camp is about 15 minutes north of where we live now, so it's not a big move. The house is a little bigger than our current home and we will be responsible for keeping up the grounds, routine maintenance and maintaining and testing the water supply on the property. In exchange for all of this we will live in the house, rent free, and have our utilities paid. We spent much time in prayer about this opportunity and feel blessed that the Lord has entrusted us with this special ministry. We had an interview last Sunday and found out that evening that we had been chosen out of five qualified candidates. What a blessing! It will be hard to leave the comfort and convenience of our home now, but where the Lord leads we must follow. Please be prayerful for the sale of our house and a smooth transition. There are many renovations that need to be done before we can move in and I hope to be able to blog about them here.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a busy, yet joyful December!!
